Karl Sigman has posted a review of the VPI Industries Scout turntable ($2750) at Audiophilia. His conclusions:
“Don’t get me wrong, the download was outstanding, too, and, of course, there were no cracks and pops and other distractions. But the download had a smoothness, a silky softness which while sounding so pleasant and nice on the ears, did not have the instrumental density and punch of the others.”
