The Artos Audio and Valvet Room

Highend-Electronics exhibited the Artos Mirage loudspeakers ($49,800) with Valvet’s “soulshine8″ preamplifier ($5590) and a pair of Valvet A35 MKII monoblocks ($6390/pair). The source was a Music Server 1 Windows 7 music server ($995). The Artos Audio Sunrise loudspeakers ($22,800) were on static display. Regular readers know I am a fan of ceramic drivers, so it should come as no surprise that I was impressed with what I heard.
