The Broadmann Acoustics and Electrocompaniet Room

Broadmann Acoustics rotated several of its pairs of speakers mated with Electrocompaniet electronics. The large Broadmann Acoustics VC 7 loudspeakers ($34,000) with an Electrocompaniet EMC 1UP Reference CD player ($7920) and ECI-5MkII integrated amplifier ($7990) were the most convincing…until you took a seat at the other end of the room and listened to the Broadmann JB155s ($59,000) matched with an all Electrocompaniet lineup, including the ECD-1 DAC, the EMP-1 multi-format player ($4000), the EC-4.8 preamplifier ($5000), and a pair of AW600 Nemo Class A monoblocks ($18,000/pair). Also seen was the Wells Audio Innamorata 140 watt/channel amplifier ($5500).
