George Warren makes a beautiful turntable with a variety of exotic hardwood plinths ($3925 without tonearm). The tonearm was the Moth 1000 with Incognito wiring ($1495) and a ZYX Yatra cartridge ($1500). The platter is embedded with cylinders of composite encased lead. He demoed the turntable with a Jolida JD9 phono preamp ($650), Jolida Fusion linestage and Fusion monoblocks (together, $6700), and von Schweikert VR-35 Export Deluxe loudspeakers ($8000/pair).
