The MSB Technology and YG Acoustics Room
This is the first time I have heard the YG Acoustics Anat III Studio Signature loudspeakers ($82,000/pair) mated with MSB electronics. Usually MSB demos with its cylindrical Platinum Mono 203 monoblocks ($27,500/pair), but here they chose the three box high black Platinum Stereo S200 ($14,995) stereo amplifier instead.
On the transport side, from top to bottom, are the Platinum Data CD IV ($3995), Universal Media Transport ($7995), and Signature Transport Power Base ($3495).
On the DAC side, top to bottom, are the Platinum Diamond DAC IV ($13,995) and a pair of Diamond Power Bases ($5995/each).
Given the industrial design, it was a little surprising how smooth and life-like the sound was. You sure can’t go on looks alone.
