The BEL, Conrad Johnson, Kuzma, and Silverline Audio Room

Silverline Audio had a range of components available to highlight their Sonatina IV ($5995/pair) (inside) and Grand Bolero ($35,000/pair) (outside) loudspeakers.

The analog source was Kuzma Stabi S turntable with Stogi S12 tonearm (front) (together, $3000). A second tonearm - the Kuzma 4Point ($6500), which Michael Fremer has been all aflutter over - was mounted as well (rear).

Conrad Johnson provided the TEA2 phono preamplifier ($3995).

The preamplifier was the Conrad Johnson ET5 ($9500).

Silverline pulled a BEL 1001 amplifier out of retirement to power the speakers. It’s a shame they are no longer being made.

Its little Minuet Supreme Plus bookshelf speakers ($699), which I have in-house for review, were making a very musical sound as well.
