The E.A.R., Marten, and Townsend Audio Room
The Marten Django loudspeakers ($15,000), first intoduced at CES earlier this year, sounded great with Tim de Paravicini’s E.A.R. electronics.
The analog source was Townsend Audio’s Rock 7 turntable with the trough and outrigger/paddle option (together, $3000).
Serving double-duty as both phono stage and line stage was the E.A.R. 912 “professional control center” ($13,000).
Digital files were sourced from a laptop and fed through the E.A.R. 192 DACute DAC ($6000).
The Marten Djangos were driven by the venerable E.A.R. 890 stereo power amplifier ($7595).
