Spiritual Audio VX-9 Power Conditioner

Greg Simmons has posted a review of the Spiritual Audio VX-9 power conditioner ($2500) at Stereo Times. His conclusions:

“With every component running through the VX-9, it had the luxury of being able to improve the performance of every piece all at once. The change was universally positive. The overall sound with the VX-9 installed is clearer and cleaner, more cohesive, and somehow both smoother and more detailed. I’ve never inserted any piece of equipment into my system – in the signal chain or out - that had such a universally positive effect on the entire system. Sure, a cable swap or source change will make an audible difference in sound, but not an improvement on the system as a whole all at once. The VX-9 did just that.”
