Doug Schneider has posted a review of the Shunyata Research’s Venom PS8 power distributor ($695), Venom HC power cable ($295), and Venom Defender surge protector ($195) at SoundStage! Hi-Fi. His conclusions:
“This combination of Venom PS8, Venom Defender, and Venom HC represented my entry into the world of Shunyata Research, in order to establish a baseline of performance. So far, I’m impressed with what I hear. It’s not a night-and-day difference, but it’s enough of a difference that I’m in no rush to remove the Shunyatas.”
