The Bricasti, D’Agostino, Harbeth and Parasound Room

Last, and certainly not least, Bricasti debuted their new M1 DAC ($8495), now with USB input and a wider selection of digital reconstruction filters, including several minimum-phase or “apodising” filters. They were using a Parasound CD player to get the bits off the disc, and a Dan D’Agostino stereo power amplifier ($25,000) to power the Harbeth HL5 monitors ($5690/pair).

I have access to a Bricasti M1 through the Ralston Listening Library and Archive and will be reviewing it in the near future.
