The TAD Room

TAD had a low-profile setup at RMAF, opting for a small room to show off its new lower-cost E1 loudspeakers ($29,800), which employ trickle-down driver technology from its Reference line. They are a fine speaker in their own right, though the $30,000 strata is a crowded field.

Computer files were played back through the digital inputs of the TAD C200 preamplifier with DAC ($27,000).

Shiny silver discs were spun in the TAD D600 SACD player ($29,500).

The power amplifier was the 300 watt/channel TAD M2500 ($20,000).

It’s easy to spend $100,000 on an “entry-level” TAD system.
