The KEF and Parasound Room
KEF introduced its new LS50 mini-monitor with distinctive copper colored Uni-Q driver array ($1500).
Parasound electronics abounded. Shown below are the latest iteration of its diminutive 192/24 Zdac with USB input and headphone amplifier ($450), the CD1 CD player ($5000) with an on-board computer running Linux and software developed by Holm Acoustics, and the P2 preamplifier with phono stage ($2000).
The 250 watt/channel Parasound A21 amplifier ($2299) provided more than adequate power to fill the room.
