The dCS, Musical Fidelity and Verity Audio Room
dCS brought out its Paganini stack, played through a Musical Fidelity M8 preamplifier ($5000) and M8 700 monoblocks ($12,000/pair), and Verity Amadis loudspeakers ($30,000/pair). It was a very musical system, though the speakers were too far apart for a convincing center image.
