The Vaughn Loudspeakers and Wavelength Audio Room

Vaughn loudspeakers have gotten good reviews at the past couple of shows. I was glad to see they weren’t paired up with MIT cables costing three or four times the cost of the speakers this time around. Instead the partnered with Wavelength Audio, which is known for its high quality with being silly expensive. The speakers shown were the Cabernet II ($9000/pair) which have a sensitivity of 100db. The amplifiers were the 12.5 watt/channel Wavelength Cardinal 300B monoblocks ($8500/pair).

Wavelength Audio introduced the new Wavelength Duetto v3 300B stereo amplifier ($5000) at the show.

The rest of the components were tucked away in an inaccessible corner. They included the Crimson HS with Denominator ($9000) and Cosecant HS with Denominator ($4000) DACs, and the Royal preamplifier ($7500).
