The Ayre and Vivid Audio Room
Another simple, straight-forward room resulted in great sound with Ayre components driving the Vivid Giya G3 loudspeakers ($40,000).
The analog source was the Ayre/DPS turntable and tonearm ($12,500)
fitted with a Benz Micro LP cartridge ($5000). Seen underneath the cabinet in the photo above is the Ayre P-5xe phono stage ($2500) along with a couple of Ayre L5xe power conditioners ($1500/each).
The digital source was Ayre’s DX_5 universal player ($9990).
Ayre’s latest product, newly introduced at RMAF, is the 125 watt/channel AX-S integrated amplifier (~$9990).
All of the components rested on Ayre myrtlewood blocks. A simple setup with stellar sound.
