The Bergmann, Lansche and Ypsilon Room

This room should be singled out for its exceptional sound, even though there was not enough room left but for a few chairs given the size and number of the Ypsilon components. Those are the new Lansche No. 5.1 loudspeakers ($45,000/pair) driven by a pair of Ypsilon AELIUS monoblocks ($72,000/pair).

Other Ypsilon components included the VPS-100 phonostage ($26,000) which Michael Fremer is enthusiastic about, the CDT-100 CD player/transport ($26,000), the DAC-100 DAC ($29,000), and the PST-100 MKII preamplifier ($37,000).

The turntable was the Bergmann Magne Airbearing with linear tracking tonearm ($12,000).
