The Burmester Room

Burmester always has a great, if somewhat predictable, room. Shown are the big B80 loudspeakers (~$40,000/pair) and a new monitor loudspeaker (model and price unknown).

The components all have a mirror finish so white gloves are a necessity. Remind your butler.

CDs were spun on the 089 top-loading, belt-driven CD player ($28,995).

Linestage duties were handled by the new 088 preamplifier ($28,995).

So new they do not have visible model numbers, or appear in Burmester’s brochure or on their website, are what appear to be a media server and a power amplifier.
