E.A.R. and Marten teamed up this year for good sound. Those are the Marten’s entry-level FormFloor loudspeakers ($6500/pair). Although difficult to see from this angle, the speaker enclosures are triangular in shape.

That’s the Townsend Rock 7 turntable ($3200) with Helius Omega tonearm ($2900) and Dynavector XV-1s cartridge ($5450).

The extremely flexible E.A.R 324 phono preamplifier ($5895) provided the gain needed by the cartridge which generates just 0.3mV.

Rounding out the electronics was an E.A.R. 834 integrated amplifier ($7995).
