This particular room at the Marriott Denver Tech Center is beyond redemption. In the three years I have been attending RMAF, no exhibitor’s speakers have sounded good, not that I am enamored with Venture loudspeakers anyway. Venture’s new Grand Ultimate loudspeakers ($90,000) were sterile, but the fit and finish was exemplary.
As in other rooms, BMC offered up its BDCD1 belt-drive CD player ($5990), DAC1 PRE1 preamplifier and DAC ($6290), and a pair of AMP M1 monoblocks ($15,580/pair). Cables were provided by Silversmith and Stage III.
The interior construction quality of the BMC components is extremely high.
