Turntables by Clearaudio, electronics by Parasound, and loudspeakers by Wharfedale combined for good sound. Shown below are the Jade 3 ($1499/pair) (outside) and the Jade 7 ($4199) (inside) loudspeakers.
The Clearaudio Concept turntable ($1499; $1599 with MM cartridge; $1999 with MC cartridge) is a giant killer.
Two steps up the line is the Clearaudio Ovation with Clarify carbon fiber tonearm (together, $5500).
Both turntables were routed through the new Parasound Halo JC3 phono preamp ($2300).
Introduced at the show was the new Parasound Halo C1 CD player ($4995). Discs are read at 4x speed into a memory buffer and error corrected prior to playing.
The Parasound JC2 Preamp ($4000) fed a pair of JC1 monoblocks ($9000/pair).
