Sound Organization sponsored a room to introduce new components from Dali, Primare and Rega. Shown below are the new Dali Fazon F5 loudspeakers ($4495). The cabinets are aluminum with no parallel surfaces. They throw a wide soundstage and provide greater low frequency extension than you might imagine.
The speakers were powered by Rega’s new Brio-R integrated amplifier ($895) (left). Rega’s new DAC ($995) (right) was playing music from an Apple Mac Mini (not shown), as well as from its Apollo CD player ($995) (below).
Rega also took the opportunity to introduce its new RP3 turntable with Eyls cartridge ($1095).
On inactive display were the new Primare I32 integrated amplifier ($2695) and Primare BD32 streaming universal Blu-ray player ($5495). If you are using a universal Blu-ray player to play back music from CD, SACDs, DVD-As and Blu-ray discs, one of the disadvantages is that you are going to need to connect it to a monitor, at least for setup.
