RMAF 2011 Coverage

October 24, 2011
The Amazon, DSA, Lamizator and Volti Audio Room

The Volti Audio Vittora ($10,600/pair) corner-loaded horns were very dynamic. At a sensitivity of 104db, they can driven by the lowest powered amplifiers.

Vinyl was played on a German Amazon Referenz turntable ($12,995) with a new Danish Moerch DP-8 Anisotropic tonearm (TBA), and a Japanese SORASound XYZ 4D cartridge ($4580).

The digital front end consisted of a Revox reel-to-reel deck, a Sonore music server ($1999) and Lampizator DAC. The wire running to the Revox appears to be connected to the playback head.

Electronics were provided by DSA.
