The MartinLogan and McIntosh Room

MartinLogan introduced its new Montis electrostatic speakers ($9995/pair) and well as its LX16 ($799) bookshelf speaker with a cone woofer and ribbon tweeter.

The amplifier driving the speakers was the powerhouse 250 watt/channel McIntosh MC452 ($7500).

The preamplifier was a McIntosh C2300 ($6000)

Playback was from a Marantz CD player and a QSonic music server. Neither had fancy blue meters.
