RMAF 2010 Coverage

Sweden’s Sjofn HiFi debuted “The Clue” loudspeaker ($999/pair). Surprisingly not bass shy, this was a great little speaker. I think the enhanced bass came from having the speaker flush against the back wall, with only some diffusion and absorption between the speaker and wall to control rear reflections. I’ve noticed that the recommended placement for a lot of Scandinavian speakers is against the back wall, which goes against audiophile conventional wisdom.
