Audio Magic had on display their line of power conditioners. Shown below is the Nexus ($3599). The small black box in the center under the words Audio Magic says “Liquid Air Module” (liquid air?) and the two small black boxes on either side say “Pulse Gen ZF.” Their representative wouldn’t tell me exactly what was in either except that he did keep saying “quantum physics.” Silly me for asking. And I thought he was going to tell me liquid air. Believe it or not, the chassis for the retail versions are all transparent just as in the photos. Why they think constantly reminding the customer of the undisclosed magic nature of the black boxes inside the power conditioner is a good idea is beyond me.
This less expensive one ($1299) just has a Liquid Air Module in it.
Their $7500 top of the line model - the Oracle - has a Mega Liquid Air Module, which I understand is a big step up from the regular Liquid Air Module. Given his previous non-response I didn’t ask what the L.P.F. Module does.
Oh, did I also say they are offering a new line of magic cables as well. The Clairvoyant Special Edition “is the most amazing silver ribbon ever made by man” and is available as an interconnect (1 meter pair = $5000), a digital cable (1 meter = $2500), a speaker cable ( 6″ pair = $5500), and a power cord (1 meter = $3800). Talk about versatility.
