RMAF 2009 Coverage

I had not heard of Nola speakers before, but they sounded very good. These models employed multiple ribbon tweeters and had a silky high end. The Audio Research components may have played a part, but you would never have known they were their without looking closely on a side table at the back of the room. Nordost Odin cabling probably didn’t hurt either. (They wouldn’t let me close the curtains!)

The five ribbon tweeters are on the right side of the open baffle.

The Audio Research Ref 5 preamp. I didn’t have a chance to ask how many hours they had on it.
