Indy Audio Labs LLC, a designer and manufacturer of high-performance consumer electronics, will demonstrate it’s recently launched Aragon Iridium Monoblock amplifiers at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest (RMAF) 2012 in the Denver Marriott Tech Center on October 12-14. The Aragon Iridium will be demonstrated in the Denver Audio Designs Suite (9013). Aragon manufacturer’s representatives will be on-site demonstrating and answering questions about the new products throughout the show.
The Iridium is the flagship amplifier in a brand new lineup from the recently-revived Aragon brand that includes the Iridium-Left and Iridium-Right Monoblocks along with the 8008 Dual Monoblock. The Iridium’s predecessor, the Aragon Palladium, achieved numerous accolades through the years for it’s unique combination of performance, distinctive industrial design (the classic Aragon “V” heat sink), value and reliability. Collectors have sought after these classic Aragon models built from the late 1980’s to the mid-2000’s. Loudspeaker manufacturers use Aragon amplifiers as reference amps due to their transparent reproduction and tolerance of difficult load impedances.
The new Iridium from Indy Audio Labs carries forward the key attributes that made Aragon famous. It employs made-in-America build quality, fully-discrete direct-coupled signal paths, and robust, high-current precision power supply components. In addition to the features and ruggedness Aragon owners have come to expect, the Iridium incorporates thermal management and audio performance enhancements rooted in improvements in modern semiconductor fabrication technology. Further, these new Aragon models boast advanced control and monitoring circuitry that allows Aragon components to be controlled directly via smartphones and mobile devices and to integrate readily with home automation systems and remote monitoring services.
“We are thrilled to be participating in the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest this year,” commented Indy Audio Labs VP of US Sales, John Caldwell. “We’re also honored to be supporting a great local dealer, Denver Audio Designs. We encourage everyone to stop by and experience the tremendous value on display exemplified by these new Aragon models,” added Caldwell.
The Iridium ($3999 US MSRP) and 8008 ($3999 US MSRP) are now available for sale from US dealers and international distributors. Visit http://www.aragonav.com for more information. In addition to the Aragon models, the Acurus A2007 7-channel THX Ultra2 certified home theater amplifier, released earlier this year (also available in 2-channel and 5-channel models), will be on display in the Denver Audio Designs suite (9013).
