Marlboro, N.J. — Some names and responsibilities are changing at GP Acoustics U.S., the marketer of KEF, KEF Reference, Celestion and Musical Fidelity home-audio products.

Paul Egan decided to leave GP Acoustics as sales and marketing VP at the end of the month; Richard Colburn will return after a year’s absence, and Stephanie Scola will assume expanded responsibilities.

Egan plans to pursue his own business interests, said Alec Chanin, president of GP Acoustics US. “Paul and I have worked closely together for almost 12 years, and during that tenure, he has been an important part of KEF’s growth in North America,” Chanin said.

Colburn is returning to GP Acoustics to become North American sales manager for the high-end KEF Reference and Musical Fidelity brands, and North America marketing manager Stephanie Scola will assume Egan’s marketing responsibilities for all GP Acoustics brands. She has been with the company for more than three years. GP Acoustics plans more KEF hires in a few months.

The management team consists of Chanin, Scola, western regional sales manager April Sanders, eastern regional sales manager Jason Caprarola and Musical Fidelity/KEF Reference sales manager Richard Colburn.
