“Whilst we can agree that HifiStay’s Vega are just accessories and no more, they happen to be demonstrably effective accessories. Being of the purely mechanical sort, they also elude basic voodoo reactions even if their employ under speakers is a bit of a mind bender. I confess to being a sufficiently practiced cynic that my very happy conclusion came as a bit of a personal surprise. I’d much prefer to keep things simple. I’d much prefer to say no to assorted tweaks and accessories, not endorse their use to add to the list of things to worry about. But when something works as plainly and well as these Vega gyrotension footers do, should one worry over that precious membership in the sane-guy club? No.”
