Hegel H160 Integrated Amplifier

Dawid Grzyb has posted a review of the Hegel H160 Integrated amplifier ($3500) at 6moons. His conclusions:

“Despite many similarities, the H160 in the end is the more serious performers in many aspects as well as it should be. This can be both seen and heard. Given the significant price difference, the H160 doesn’t really compete against the H80. With its greatly enhanced dynamics, it plays it more precise, blunt and to the point. It also stages bigger, bolder and more airy. That’s something I truly fancy to make me really want the H160. But above all, this machine is even more linear and transparent than the H80. As a reviewer, it’d make my life easier. Beyond that, it’s simply more enjoyable, too.”
