D-BOX Technologies Inc. (DBO.A on the TSX Venture Exchange), a leader in innovative, immersive motion technology for the entertainment industry, announced today a second agreement with Galaxy Theatres to install 22 of its Motion Systems at the Las Vegas, Nevada location.

Offering moviegoers an unmatched, realistic experience, D-BOX’s motion seats are designed to move in perfect sync with the action taking place onscreen. The company’s proprietary D-BOX Motion Code(TM) technology is used to custom code each movie, frame by frame, resulting in subtle, refined movements that create a new dimension in movie viewing - motion.

Launching worldwide earlier this year, D-BOX’s Motion technology is now featured in six North American movie theatres including the first Galaxy Theatre, Galaxy Highland in Austin, Texas, where 22 seats were unveiled in May with the screening of Terminator Salvation.

"We are very pleased to announce a second partnership with Galaxy Theatres and bring D-BOX’s Motion technology to yet another new market," stated President and Chief Executive Officer of D-BOX Technologies, Claude Mc Master. "D-BOX’s motion seats have been extremely well-received in existing cities and we anticipate continued success in Las Vegas and look forward to continuing to build a relationship with Galaxy Theatres."

Galaxy Theatres owns and operates movie theatres in California, Texas, Nevada and Washington. The Galaxy Cannery is completely digital and is the first movie theatre in the state to feature D-BOX’s ground-breaking Motion technology and will outfit one auditorium with 22 motion-enhanced seats.

"Based on the enthusiastic response of the patrons at our first D-BOX location in Austin, Texas, we are excited about bringing this marvelous technology to the Galaxy Cannery to enhance the enjoyment of Las Vegas movie fans," stated Rafe Cohen, president of Galaxy Theatres.
