“That being said those looking for aggressive dynamics, a heavy hitting bass line or supreme headroom with soaring treble performances might be better suited to a more solid state amp as the Sustain84’s big strength is in a smooth flowing mid-range and a beautiful vocal presence. It is an amp for those who simply want detail and excellence without the aggression and for those who want a musical performance for lengthy listening periods.”
