Audio Research and Sonus Faber

Audio Research again joined forces with Sonus Faber, electing to demo its electronics with the fabulous Aida loudspeakers ($120,000). They were bi-amped with a pair of Reference 250 monoblocks ($13,000 each) and a pair of DS450M monoblocks ($5500 each). Audio Research’s sort of new Reference 10 preamplifier ($30,000) was also in the rack.

Audio Research supplied its brand new Reference CD9 CD player ($13,000) which has asynchronous USB, S/PDIF, Toslink and AES/EBU digital inputs.
