Fortunately the $60,000 Silbatone Aporia full range horn system was playing softly so it was only visually overwhelming. The speakers were bi-amped with the RI5 stereo integrated amplifier (base price: $150,000) (center) and the Reference 300 stereo integrated amplifier ($38,000) (left).
The Silbatone RI5 sports a pair of $15,000 pre-war Seimens low mu triodes:
You may remember my mentioning the $38,000 Silbatone Reference 300 integrated in my opening remarks. You can get the same amp in a slightly less over-the-top chassis for $23,000. It is called the JI-300 MkIII.
The preamp is the Silbatone C-100 Reference ($100,000). The parts quality didn’t appear to be extreme, but what do I know.
The turntable was from Artemis Labs and the CD playback was a dCS Scarlatti stack (not shown).
