CES 2011 Coverage

Remember the AH! Njoe Tjoeb CD player from the late ’90s? It was a Marantz player modified with a tube output circuit and achieved a sort of cult status among the entry-level crowd. Well the same engineer, Dutch-born Herman van den Dungen, is the driving force behind PrimaLuna, a manufacturer of affordable hand-made tube designs with point-to-point wiring. Based on my listening, I think they offer very good value. Here are some photos of their premium line.
