CES 2011 Coverage

Kiso was demoing its new $16,000 HB-1 two-way loudspeaker with 4″ woofer and .25″ ebony horn ($16,000-$24,000, depending on wood finish). The cabinet is intentionally resonant, in fact tuned with interior arched braces similar to those used in musical instruments. It images like the crazy, but with no low-end, was ultimately unsatisfying.
