CES 2010 Coverage

Besides soulution, JV is enamored of the BAlabo (Bridge Audio Laboratory) components, so I expected a lot when I walked into the BAlabo, Tidal room. The Tidal speakers I heard at RMAF were among the best of show. Here, BAlabo partnered its BP-1 MK-II power amplifiers with Tidal Sunray speakers. They sounded spectacular.

To each his own, but while the BAlabo may be long on sonics and construction, I thought they were short on aesthetics.

BAlabo doesn’t make a transport yet, so they had to rely on a Zanden Model 2000. I can’t wait to see what BAlabo has to offer next year for a disc spinner.
