The Rogue Audio, Wilson Audio Room

Rogue Audio chose the Wilson Audio Sophia’s to demonstrate its line of tube electronics. It was a good choice. The room sounded really fine, and the Ferrari red Sophia’s brought style to Rogue’s otherwise monochromatic lineup. There is just something about tubes with Wilsons.

Rogue Audio also showed their Ares tube phono preamplifier

and Tempest III tube integrated amplifier

Rogue also showed its classic Magnum integrated amplifier. It uses KT90 (rather than KT88) tubes, and can also accept EL34s if you are so inclined. I don’t know if you can make it out, but there is a yellow tool to adjust bias thoughtfully mounted behind the power transformer to the left. No need to purchase a separate multi-meter as one is built into the center of the unit.
