E.A.R. was showing off Tim De Paravicini’s latest creations with the newly introduced Marten Heritage Getz loudspeakers. It was on of the few rooms in which the speakers disappeared, which was no mean feat given the expanse of glass behind and to the side of the right speaker. Truly a best in show. I wish the photograph showed the Marten speakers off to better advantage. They had a stunning black lacquer finish. Also notice the Tape Project boxes under the de Paravicini modded Technics reel-to-reel. Come to think of it, they were using it as their source. Maybe that is why everything sounded so exquisite.
