DNM Design markets the DSPeaker Servo 299La DSP active speaker with an amplifier, electronic crossover and automatic room correction built in. In an untreated room, you could easily tell the DSP was working as the speakers did not exhibit the boom heard elsewhere as room modes were excited.
They sell the automatic room correction module separately as the DSPeaker Anti-Mode 8033 for a modest $350. It has received glowing reviews on several European audio forums I monitor.
Resolution Audio’s cd CD transport (top) and ps Power Center preamplifier (bottom) took backseat in the demo. The S80 intergrated amplifier (middle) was not used as DSPeaker Servo 299Las had amplifiers built in.
