CES 2010 Coverage

Nordost exhibited in a number of rooms. Here they provided Odin speaker cables for the Scaena 24-pod iso-linear line arrays. The boxes between the speakers are Nordost QX4 quantum filtering devices for power lines. The only reason I can think the are between the speakers is so that you are sure to see them even though they have nothing to do with the speakers. The speakers were a bit tipped-up for my taste, but the clarity of the upper range was remarkable.

Power for all of those little speakers was provided by a pair of McIntosh MC-2301 tube monoblocks

A dcs Scarlatti setup was a popular choice for a front end for many of the exhibitors (with more Nordost cabling and quantum power filter boxes to the right).
