Definitve Technology had its new series of monitors and subwoofers on display. Show below, left to right, are the SM45 ($398/pair), SM55 ($598/pair) and the SM 65 ($898/pair) stand-mount monitors. Paul DiComo did a demo of the SM55s and new SuperCube 4000 subwoofer ($799) which was quite impressive. The electronics were all Pass Labs. He even spun vinyl on a ClearAudio Concept turntable. Definitely out of the box.
Also shown were DefTech’s new BP8000 range of tower speakers. I currently have the BP8060s in house for review.
