Anthem had a number of new products to show off this year, including four new A/V receivers.
The top of the line Anthem surround sound processor is the D2V ($8,499).
One step down is the AVM-50v ($5,995)
At 75lbs and 325 watts/channel, the Statement P2 ($3,999) is the most powerful two channel amplifier Anthem makes.
They also make a five channel version with 325 watts/channel as well. It is the Statement P5 ($7,499).
For those not needing quite so much power, the Statement A series is available is a two and five channel version - the Statement A2($1,299) and the Statement A5 ($2,499) - each with 200 watts/channel. Here is the A5:
Notice how much smaller it is than the P2.
Anthem’s three new receivers are the MRX900 ($3,999) , MRX-700 (%1,999), MX-500 ($1,499) and MX-300 ($999), differing primarily in their power output, ranging from 80 watts/channel to 140 watts/channel. Here are front and back photos of the MRX-700:
Anthem also offers the BLX 200 Blu-ray player ($799). It is an HDMI 1.3 unit so it is not 3D ready. No word on when an HDMI 1.4 model will be offered.
