Velodyne must have had fifty subwoofers on display. Honestly, I think they have subwoofers in hundred dollar increments from $300 to $3,000. How one figures out which one to buy is beyond me. On the upper end are the new Digital Drive Plus. This big boy is the 18″ DD-18+ ($4999).

They also come in smaller sizes - the DD-15+ ($3,999), the DD-12+ ($2,499) and the DD-10+ ($2,499).

Take a look at the actual Velodyne Digital Drive Plus driver. Wouldn’t you rather have a sub from JL Audio at a comparable price?
