CEDIA 2010 Coverage

NAD

I can’t say I’ve ever really been a fan of NAD. Their styling has been both spartan and quirky, and the way they rate their amplifiers with “Full Disclosure Power” has more often than not left me confused. Seemed like a marketing gimmick. However, the new Masters Series line of components has piqued my interest in the mid-priced high-end arena. Here is the M56 Blu-ray player ($1,999), M15 HD AV surround sound processor ($4,499) and M25 160 watts/channel seven channel amplifier ($4,999).

Here is a closer look at the M56 Blu-ray player:

Also in the Masters Series is the M3 dual mono 180 watts channel integrated amplifier ($2,999).

If you need a little more power, the M2 “Direct Digital” 200 watts/channel integrated amplifier ($5,999) should fill the bill.

NAD also offers the M5 CD/SACD player ($1,799) and the M4 AM/FM tuner ($1,299) to round out the Masters Series (not shown).
