The Harman Group was well represented. Here is a nice two-channel system with JBL Synthesis DD66000 loudspeakers ($45,000), Mark Leveinson 326S preamp ($12,000), Mark Levinson 512 SACD player ($15,00), and Mark Levinson 532 400 watts/channel stereo amplifier ($22,500). That’s a $94,500 system without cabling, but if you have to asked how much it costs, you can’t afford it.
For home theater afficionados, JBL has a speaker for you. I wish I could tell you the model numbers and prices, but they have six separate lines and they all look alike to me!
The electronics are easy. Top to bottom are the SDP40HD surround sound processor, SDEC4500 the 12-channel digital equalizer, and three S820 200 watt/channel stereo power amplifiers (bridged @ 800 watts). Individual prices were unavailable, but a 5.1 system including speakerrs, runs in the neighborhood of $90,000. Hmmm - same price as the two-channel system with the Everest speakers and Mark Levinson electronics.
