Focal introduced the Viva Utopia loudspeaker ($12,000) to round out its Utopia line. As shown, it is a MTM design and can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. The nameplate surrounding the tweeter and the connection plate on the rear can be rotated for proper aesthetics.
This photo gives you a sense of the size of the Viva in comparison to the Grande Utopia EM ($180,000/pair) and also shows the Viva mounted vertically.
Level control of the bass module of the Grande Utopia EM is set by an external volume control.
At the other end of the spectum was Focal’s Dome speakers ($750/pair) and matching black R2D2 subwoofer.
Focal also had on display its full range of non-Utopia series speakers. Here are the Chorus 706V monitors ($595/pair) and the 726V floorstanders ($1,695).
