Crestron had by far the biggest presence at CEDIA of all the exhibitors. They had one guy I think they hired off the cable shopping channel selling HDMI switching solutions. He had the audience mesmerized and would have been equally at ease selling dice-a-matics.

Besides their usual touchpad devices, they showed off their new $7,000 Adagio ADMS-BR Digital Media Server with Blu-ray drive and 1TB storage. The also displayed their new $9,000 ADC-200BR 200 Blu-ray disc changer. That’s $45 per disc for a storage solution. I think I’ll continue to store my DVDs and Blu-rays on a shelf.
