I have been a fan of the French audio manufacturer for a long time. I think they get the design right and offer good value for an entry level audiophile. Shown below are their latest offerings.

The CD30 (top) CD player resamples to 132.3kHz. You read it right, not 88.2 or 176.4, but 132.3. Leave it to the French.

The 1A180 (bottom) integrated amplifier relies on Class D amplifiers to generate 180 watts/channel at 4 ohms. In addition to the usual inputs and outputs, it comes with a phono preamp and a sub output.

The FM10 (top) is an FM-only tuner with 50 presets! I don’t think I can pick up half that many stations, but I guess you can never have too much flexibility.

The AP180 (bottom) is a 2.1 receiver with 3×180 watts/channel at 4 ohms. It has two analog inputs and four coaxial and optical digital inputs. It decodes all surround sound formats except Dolby Tru-HD and DTS-HD. No HDMI or other video switching is provided.

The PA20 (top) is Micromegas sole entry in the two-channel preamp category. Like the IA180 it has a phono preamplifier and subwoofer output.

The PW400 (bottom) is a 400 watt/channel at 4 ohm Class D stereo amplifier.
