The Belles Power Modules and Soundfield Audio Room
Soundfield Audio demoed both its Monitor 1 ($1300/pair) (front) and its 1812 Overture Sub/Sats ($7500/pair) (rear), both of which were dynamic but otherwise unremarkable. Sometimes unremarkable is good, as in the speakers did not draw attention to themselves, letting the music simply flow through. Electronics were the finely crafted Belles VT-01 preamplifier ($4695) flanked by a pair of MB-200 monoblocks ($6995/pair).
CDs were played by an Oppo BDP-95 universal Blu-ray player ($999) on the lower shelf.
